C.H.L.O.E.'s Mission: To advocate and promote access to clean, healthy, local, organic food for everyone in our community by bringing farmers and consumers together to support a strong local food system. Buying locally benefits everyone involved and strengthens communities, neighborhoods and local economies. North Carolinians spend $35 billion dollars on food each year. If each consumer spends only 10% of their food dollars on locally produced foods, $3.5 billion dollars would be contributed to local economies, supporting family farms, creating jobs and building a stronger North Carolina.
